Volunteering divulgation
MAHLE has the objective of disseminating the culture of volunteer engagement, involving its collaborators and the communities of its units in Brazil.
Through stimulation and qualification of the collaborators, we have a structured work project, with actions that will directly contribute to the dissemination of volunteer engagement and that will amplify the Social Responsibility concept.
For binding and focusing the Strength of the Citizen, trough his participation in volunteer engagement within an entrepreneurial origin program, we have conceived five basic objectives:
1. Encouragement to volunteer work
Through lectures and courses to sensitize collaborators, Partnerships with Institutions specialized in the subject: Participation of collaborators.
2. Dissemination of information
Creation of kernels that will concentrate information from the local community about courses offered, needs of regional entities, texts, specialized literature, use of information channels about the subject and encouraging collaborators to look for information within their communities.
3. Strengthening of volunteer engagement
Recruiting volunteers already mobilized to be knowledge multipliers in their regions. Contributing to strengthening in the region; Creation of the Volunteer Habilitation Kernels, creating and releasing a calendar of events that improve the volunteers’ capacity.
4. Building Bridges
The improvement of the Information Centers created within the unit; at that moment, the Center will be already capable of binding information about the needs of local entities that will be compared against a databank about the internal volunteers, their wishes, and habilitations.
5. Recognition of volunteer engagement
Events of public knowledge and symbolic awarding for involvement and dedication of volunteers.
